FSA factions which are active in the Syrian desert repelled on Thursday a major attack launched by the Iranian militias and regime forces on their locations and the clashes are still ongoing.
A filed source in FSA said to Baladi News: "Iranian militias and regime forces tried to advance on the Syrian desert from three axes in a force formed of 60 cars loaded with anti-aircraft missiles, tanks and heavy vehicles and as a result of the attack Iranian militias managed to control Tal al-Doukhan, but the attack on Tal Dakwah failed after three hours of clashes.
FSA factions in the Syrian desert announced regaining control over many points on which the Shiite militias advance recently along with destroying a warplane with a Konkurs missile on Wednesday inside al-Doumayer airbase in Damascus countryside.
Regions of the Syrian desert in Daraa, Damascus, and al-Suwayda'a triangle have been witnessing fierce battles for days after FSA factions have launched a battle to regain control over the regions on which regime forces have advanced after repelling ISIS, especially in Sad al-Zalef and its outskirts in the eastern countryside of al-Suwayda'a.
